Typically, as the groom your duties would include:
- Getting your side of the guest list together.
- Picking your best man and groomsmen
- Helping decide on a budget for the day.
- Plan what suit you want to wear and colours etc
- Help select parents gifts
- Buy a gift for your bride
- Prepare a speech for the rehearsal dinner and/or reception
These are just a few of the necessary tasks you need to complete before the big day. If you want to help your bride from having a breakdown, consider your strengths and where you could help the most. Offer to help her and take control of some of the major planning parts:
- Honeymoon Travel
- Photography
- Music
- Budgeting
- Transport
- Travel for interstate/ overseas guests
